I pantaloni

For long trips, especially in view of frequent movings, I highly do not recommend jeans. They are heavy, bulky, difficult to wash by hand and it takes them a long time to dry.

Now think of having to walk on hot places such as a Middle Eastaern city. Better a nice pair of shorts, no? Yes, but … if you want to visit a mosque where they are not allowed?

Here’s the solution: modular pants! A zip to knee height allows you to quickly detach and reattach the two lower parts, which you can easily fold up in a backpack, purse, or even in pockets of the same pants.

Mine were by Columbia, synthetic breathable, very compactable for transport without the consequent “wrinkled” effect.
I also had a pair one in white cotton, to be used when going around the city without looking like a poor Indiana Jones.

Le scarpe tecniche

novembre 3rd, 2010 | Posted by dokk in Abbigliamento ed equipaggiamento - (4 Comments)
After many mistakes in choosing shoes, I discovered super technical, cutting edge, ultra modern … sandals. For 80% of the time, even visiting ruins or places that are not comfortable, I got on a pair bought at the Decathlon.

And, I confess, I’ve shod them with socks, germany style.

Why do I speak in the past? Because I have forgotten them in a hostel, obviously…
