To Ain Dara.

Statue of lion

<<The Ain Dara temple is an Iron Age Syro-Hittite temple, located northwest of Aleppo, Syria, and dating to between the 10th and 8th century BC. It is noted for its similarities to Solomon’s Temple as described in the Hebrew Bible.[1] The surviving sculptures depict lions and sphinxes (comparable to the cherubim of the First Temple). The god’s massive footprints are carved into the floor.>>

8 kilometers by walking at noon, without a shadow, in Anatolia. But I did it.

4000 years  ago Hatti people were here,  followed by Hittits, who made their Empire capital of it.

And after millenniums Hattusa shows the ruins of a gone big Empire.

Emotions are strong, observing kings and deities and touching digged rocks.

And 3 km far there is Yazilikaya, a Hittit sanctuary. In the pic 12 deities.
