A Brasov, anch`essa precedente colonia sassone, c`e` la strada piu` stretta della Romania. Oltre a questa curiosita` la citta` offre una piacevole piazza a cui si arriva da una strada pedonale popolata da numerosi caffe.
Nei pressi si trova la “Biserica Neagra”, cioe` la Chiesa Nera, che deve il suo colore a un incendio.
Finito il tour della citta` con la visita alla fortezza situata su di un`irta collina, il giorno successivo mi reco a Bran, famosa per il suo castello.
Fu costruito dai Cavalieri Teutonici, ma la sua fama e` dovuta al Dracula di Bram Stoker, che qui vi ambiento` il suo celebre romanzo.
Ma, sorpresa… Il principe Vlad l`impalatore (chiamato cosi` per la sua simpatica abitudine di far impalare i rei) non possedette mai questo castello. Si, si tratta di un`invenzione, come quella sui vampiri.

In Brasov, also a previous Saxon colony, there is the narrowest street in Romania. Besides this curiosity, the city offers a pleasant square which can be reached by a pedestrian street populated by numerous cafes.
Nearby there is the “Biserica Neagra”, the Black Church, which owes its color to a fire.
After the city tour with a visit to the fortress situated on a bristling hill, the next day I go to Bran, famous for its castle.
It was built by the Teutonic Knights, but his fame is due to Bram Stoker, who settled here his famous novel.
But, surprise … The principe Vlad the Impaler (so called because of his nice attitude to impalement) didn`t ever owned this castle. Yes, it is a fake, like the vampires.
