He is Xavi, from Barcelona.
We met in Yerevan, in a private house recommended by Lonely Planet but that was full. So we were diverted into another woman’s house.
From there we shared a piece of road, up to Goris, where I took the road back to north and he, after a few days, would go to the autonomous region of Nagorno Karabakh.
After working for years in London and Istanbul and traveled in the Middle East, U.S. and South America, he leaved, about two months ago, for the middle of Asia, to be a journalist.
Funny, witty, interesting guy. It has been a pleasure to meet him on my way. :)
